Down Syndrome Alabama provides support, connection, educational resources, and advocacy for people with Down syndrome and their families. It's an organization that I connected with shortly after our prenatal diagnosis. From a welcoming baby bag packed with resources, baby gifts, and educational material...to visits, a meal, and decorative wreath during a hospital stay...special events that connect us with fellow DS families...to ongoing parent networking and education workshops...these are just some of the ways that DSA has personally supported our family. DSA has held a special place in our hearts from the very beginning of our journey with Aria and will continue for life! 

October is Down Syndrome Awareness month and we’re fundraising for Down Syndrome Alabama and asking you to help us in supporting them.
