Join DSA for an unforgettable day of discovery at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville! Families will explore one of Alabama’s most iconic attractions through interactive exhibits, hands-on learning, and space-themed adventures for all ages.
Your day includes access to:
- ISS: Science on Orbit (International Space Station)
- Rocket Park
- Military Park
- Shuttle Park
- G-force Accelerator – must be 48” tall – “astronaut training simulation/gravity experiment)
- Moon Shot – must be 54” tall – interactive simulation to feel what a real rocket launch is like
- Intuitive Planetarium Show – voted one of 10 best in US by USA TODAY
- 1-HOUR hands-on lab – either water filtration or rocket fuel
Date: Saturday, June 27 | 10:00 AM–4:00 PM
Cost: Children (Ages 5-17) with Down syndrome enter FREE (must register here) and can be accompanied by one adult at no cost. Tickets for all other family members, friends, etc., are $32.
Lunch: Families may bring lunch or purchase food onsite.
